06/27: Homework 1 is posted in the handouts & assignments section. This is based on material covered in lectures 1-3, and will be due on Thursday, 6/30.
HW1 CORRECTION: In problem 9 (extra credit), the mass of the oscillator is 0.10kg. A corrected version of the homework is now on the website.

06/29: Updated schedule is posted. Details of lecture topics are still likely to change in the future.

07/01: Homework 1 solutions are posted in the solutions section.

07/01: Homework 2 is posted in the handouts & assignments section, due W 07/06.

07/04: We will likely not get to the Doppler effect, interference and beats until Wednesday. Thus problems 6 and 7 on HW2 will not be graded. On Wednesday, turn in all other problems (1-5 and 8-10), and do 6-7 afterwards to prepare for the test.

07/05: Brian Shotwell will hold additional office hours on Monday, July 11, and Monday, July 18, from 5-6pm in Mayer Hall 4514 per request by students.
