University Physics Texts Web Sites:
  1. Physics for Scientists and Engineers, by Douglas C. Giancoli, has for each chapter a handy list of objectives, practice questions, physlet problems and practice problems for which you can change the data so you can redo the same problem over and over again. Note that any other Prentice Hall texts (like College Physics by Jerry Wilson) will share the same set of problems.
  2. Sears & Zemansky's University Physics, By Young and Freedman has good, challenging multiple choice questions and problems. You may also find "How To Succeed in Physics by Really Trying" interesting.
  3. Physics for Scientists and Engineers, by Serway & Beichner, has "quizzing and testing" and "practice problems with answers".
  4. Not so good ones - ones: Tipler (a text many students like very much), ...
  5. Fundamentals of Physics, Halliday, Resnick and Walker. This used to have nice "Inetractive LearningWare Problems" (maybe still available in CD-ROM, and maybe back soon/now on web), which would guide you through the solution to selected problems from the text (indicated in the textbook by "ilw"). There are also solutions to few selected problems from the text (indicated by "www" in the textbook), hints to some more problems, sample quizzes and much more.
