Important information regarding the final exam. 1) The final exam will be given at two locations. To ensure that we maximize the exam space the students are divided as follows: -students with a last name starting with A-K are assigned to Ledden Auditorium -students with a last name starting with L-Z are assigned to 2722 York Hall. Please note your assignment and don't forget to bring your student ID to the final. 2) As before, you are allowed to bring one sheet of formulas. 3) The exam is multiple-choice (24 questions). Don't forget to bring a scantron. Good luck!

Please take a moment to submit evaluations for the course. They can be submitted between Monday, October 19 at 12:00 AM and Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 PM by visiting the following website: https://academicaffairs.ucsd.edu/Modules/Evals?e1431019

10/08
The office hours for David Vidmar have been changed due to a scheduling conflict. This new office hour is still Wednesday, but has been pushed back an hour to 2-3 pm. This change has been updated on the left column of the course website as well.
10/02
It is very important to remember to bring the correct scantron form to each weekly quiz. From this point forward, if you do not have the correct (red) scantron form when the quiz starts, you will receive a zero for that quiz with no exceptions.
09/29
The physics tutorial center will begin next week in Mayer Hall Addition 2702, and will be open on Mon-Thurs 1:00-6:00 PM. The web page is:

09/23
IMPORTANT NOTE: The first lecture will be held on Thursday 9/24, from 2:00 - 2:50 PM in place of the first discussion session. The second lecture will be held on Friday 9/25, from 11:00 - 11:50 AM in place of the first quiz. Both lectures will still be held in 2722 York Hall.

Here is an image of the scantron form that you need for quizzes.
