Final and course grades and histogram
For determining the course letter grade, one of the following two algorithms was used,
the one giving the highest grade for each student: 1) 50% 5 quizzes, 50% final, or 2) 40%
best 4 quizzes, 60% final (only the first one is given in the file above
under "Final Score").
The cutoffs for letter grades were somewhat below A: >65%, B>45%, C>30%
